Benvenuti! Se siete su questa pagina deduco che in qualche modo siete amanti di questo specifico genere musicale o, in qualche modo, vi piace suonare la chitarra e siete curiosi. 

Faccio una premessa doverosa: io non sono un chitarrista professionista, il mio lavoro consiste nell'insegnamento delle tecniche orafe e nella produzione di arredi per le chiese su ordinazione (se volete visitarlo il mio sito professionale è: paganiniarredisacri.it), tuttavia coltivo la passione della chitarra fin da quando ero ragazzo e, in particolare, ho coltivato la musica Ragtime da quando ho studiato con passione il manuale del mitico Giovanni Unterberger, già molti anni fa. 

Ho iniziato a "buttare giù" negli anni '90 qualche tentativo di trascrizione, a partire dal famoso "The Entertainer" di Scott Joplin. Durante il periodo del Covid ho ripreso questa mia trascrizione e l'ho perfezionata, prendendo al contempo la decisione di trascrivere per chitarra altri brani Ragtime, soprattutto quelli ancora non trascritti, e forse meno noti. In rete si trovano centinaia di arrangiamenti per chitarra di "The Entertainer" e di altri brani Ragtime, molto belli e fedeli, ma - e questo lo verificherete voi - essendo scritti da chitarristi esperti e capaci, risultano spesso anche difficili da suonare per talenti "medi". Io, considerandomi appartenente a questa categoria,  faccio le trascrizioni innanzitutto a mio uso e consumo, quindi curo molto la facilità di esecuzione e la scorrevolezza delle posizioni, così come mi ha insegnato magistralmente Unterberger. Per fare ciò non esito anche a cambiare la tonalità dei brani originali, come ho fatto ad esempio con "The Entertainer" che ho trascritto in tonalità di La, rispetto al Do originale.

In questo sito metto il materiale dei miei arrangiamenti che potete scaricare senza problemi e usare come volete. Gli spartiti in pdf,  le mie esecuzioni dei brani etc.... Premetto che sono un pessimo performer, essendo un tipo un po' emotivo, e alcuni filmati sono di qualità non buona. Servono giusto per vedere le posizioni degli accordi; voi potrete fare sicuramente molto meglio di me.

I make a necessary premise: I am not a professional guitarist, my work consists in teaching goldsmith techniques and in the production of furniture for churches on order (if you want to visit it, my professional website is: paganiniarredisacri.it), however I cultivate the passion for the guitar since I was a boy and, in particular, I have cultivated Ragtime music since I passionately studied the manual of the legendary Giovanni Unterberger, many years ago.

I started "knocking out" some attempts at transcription in the 90s, starting with the famous "The Entertainer" by Scott Joplin. During the Covid period I resumed this transcription of mine and perfected it, at the same time making the decision to transcribe other Ragtime songs for guitar, especially those not yet transcribed, and perhaps less well-known. On the internet there are hundreds of guitar arrangements of "The Entertainer" and other Ragtime songs, very beautiful and faithful, but - and you will verify this - being written by expert and capable guitarists, they are often also difficult for talented people to play " medium". Considering myself as belonging to this category, I make the transcriptions first and foremost for my own use, so I pay a lot of attention to the ease of execution and the smoothness of the positions, as Unterberger masterfully taught me. To do this I also don't hesitate to change the key of the original songs, as I did for example with "The Entertainer" which I transcribed in the key of A, compared to the original C.

On this site I put the material of my arrangements that you can download without problems and use as you want. The scores in pdf, my performances of the songs etc.... Let me start by saying that I am a terrible performer, being a somewhat emotional guy, and some films are of poor quality. They are just used to see the positions of the chords; you can certainly do much better than me.
